Community Partnership

Serving with humility, remembrance, and care.

Hang On In There Ministries believes that meaningful service is not always loud. Sometimes it takes the form of presence, support, and quiet acts of remembrance that strengthen the life of a community.

Community Support

Memorial School

Hang On In There Ministries was honored to support Memorial School by providing candles for the school’s memorial display honoring the children lost in the 1908 Collinwood School Fire.

The candle display stands as a permanent remembrance within the school so that future generations will continue to learn about and reflect on this important moment in Cleveland’s history.

Dr. Hill visited Memorial School during their recent Black History program and captured a photo of the display, which remains as a quiet place of remembrance for the students and community.

We are grateful to support efforts that preserve history and honor the lives that will never be forgotten.

Why This Work Matters

Partnership rooted in care

Partnership, at its best, reflects shared care for the people and stories that shape a community. Our support of Memorial School was not about recognition, but about standing alongside an institution that continues to teach remembrance with dignity.

We believe history should be preserved, communities should be strengthened, and meaningful acts of support should reflect both compassion and reverence.

As Hang On In There Ministries continues its work in Cleveland, we remain committed to serving wherever faith, community, and remembrance meet.
